My idea for this stand was to subtly reflect the 'swirl' in the base using beads in the shade. The color gold, a thin line on the base, is reflected in the cord and the frame, which I sprayed gold. As it turned out, the effect of the bead garland was disappointing and I was annoyed by small bumps and waves that did not belong. So I dismantled it all. Sometimes there is no other option. The next idea, a double-layered knotted frame was on the menu. The holes that appear when knotting are filled with the knots from the second layer because I have shifted them slightly compared to the first layer. At the end at the bottom I inserted the cords from the second layer through the first layer and the cord from the first layer were present. I was happy with the classic edge that emerged. A light filter is not necessary because it has become less transparent due to two layers.
