Hanneke gave me this large shade. In tatters, but not bent or broken. In my collection of shades I found a voluptuous version that fit just right. The overall shape reminded me of a lily and voila the idea was born. I have based the colors on a picture. At first I took the distribution and logic of the colors a bit loose. But that turned out not to be a good idea. So I introduced a regularity again. You wouldn't say that a total of 11 colors were used, from bright pink to bright yellow. It became exciting when I got to the link, the amount of bars differs per shade, so the colors continue, but not the separation into segments. That's one of those irregularities that I've come to love. The standard where the flower hangs is also a cap. I tied a 'lamp sleeve' over the huge led lamp to temper the light.
