The lampshade on this special stand of grandmother Lepoutre deserved a better version, Colette thought. I showed her different shapes, but in the end she decided that it had to be the shape of a barrel. Coincidentally, I had this one in my collection and together we choose the colors based on her interior. Red, orange, gold and spicy tuquoise, daring I thought. I made several options for the pattern. She quickly made a choice. The colors accentuate the bars and she didn't think a light filter was necessary. Now a warm glow lights up the room due to the restored lamp.
